"Amazing massage from Ricky. One of the best massages I have ever had. I will now be a regular client of his and could not recommend him more. He really listens to what you need and what areas to focus on. I left feeling so good"

"I’ve been using the massage works for a couple of months now in a bid to help with the pain of arthritis! Deep tissue massage from the Massage Works is the only thing that’s helped with the pain in years! My only regret is that I didn’t find them sooner! A* "

What to expect for my first session?
All bookings are managed via FRESHA
Once booked, there is a short consultation for you to fill out before the session.
The consultation form helps me better understand your needs, preferences and any medical conditions, helping me to tailor the session.
Please arrive 10 minutes early your first session to discuss your form.
During the treatment itself:
- You can choose music, lighting, or silence to create the atmosphere you prefer.
- Full draping is used for your comfort and privacy.
- Pressure is fully adjustable to your needs, and you can guide the pressure throughout.
- Communication is encouraged, so you can let me know at any point if something feels too intense or needs adjusting.
The session concludes with some aftercare advice on stretches, posture, and self-care to help maintain the benefits.
How long shall I book?
The right treatment length depends on your goals, how your body is feeling, and whether we’re focusing on one specific area or multiple areas.
45 minutes – Ideal if you have one main problem area (e.g. neck and shoulders or lower back) and want focused work.
60 minutes – A balanced full-body session or targeted treatment with enough time to address surrounding areas properly.
75 minutes – Great for deeper recovery work, combining bodywork with assisted stretching and mobility.
90 minutes – Best for full-body reset sessions, ongoing maintenance, or if you train regularly and need more detailed work.
If you're unsure, 60 or 75 minutes is usually the best place to start. We can always adjust future sessions based on how your body responds.
